You Have The Choice
"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how
close they were to success when they gave up." Thomas A. Edison
Some people might say that failing is unacceptable, which
this is not true at all. In order to make it somewhere in life you have to
fail.
When it comes to the topics, is it ok for kids to fail some
might not know how to answer this. Keep in mind that no one is perfect,
everyone messes up and it’s human to do so. You can’t protect someone from failure
no matter how hard you try it just isn't possible. If you try to protect your
kid from failure, you are making them see no matter what you have to be
perfect. Doing this will affect the child and make them see the world for only
being perfect, which no wrongs. This not the world that we live in, no one is
perfect. Also, I feel that every place is a safe place to fail.
If you think of failing as help, what I mean by this is in
order to succeed you need to fail. Once you get knocked down, you have to build
back up, and you will succeed once you get back on your feet.
This reminds me of
the movie Aladdin, in the movie he was seen as a poor person and had nothing
going for him. Even though this movie might be a child’s classic movie, Aladdin
did fail. He failed at being a good friend and treating and using Genie as if he
had done nothing for him. Soon after Aladdin did realize the way he was acting
was wrong he turned around and changed his actions. The truth about the movie
is that he did fail many times at trying to be perfect and make everyone see
him as such. At the end of the movie my favorite part was when he set Genie
free.
Genie was confused why he would do such a thing, the reason
behind him doing this was after all the times him trying to be perfect and
prove himself as something he is not, he now showed that he has a heart and he succeeded
to show everyone he can do something right. To my belief in order to succeed at
something you have to fail.
